Cross-Domain Connectivity, AI Dialogue, and Sustainable Learning: 2026 Symposium on Competency-Based Teaching and the 2nd XPlorer Project Results Presentation

I. In response to the 108 Competency-Based Curriculum, the rise of AI technology, and the current global challenges, we invite the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Tamkang University to co-organize the "Cross-Domain Connectivity, AI Dialogue, and Sustainable Learning: 2026 Symposium on Competency-Based Teaching and the 2nd XPlorer Project Results Presentation."

II. The symposium is scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Te-Fang Foreign Language Building, College of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Fu Jen Catholic University. We cordially invite and encourage faculty members to submit their work.

III. Submission Guidelines:

  1. Call for Papers (CFP): Chinese and English versions (Appendix I).

  2. Abstract Submission Form: Chinese and English versions (Appendix II). Deadline: October 15, 2025.

  3. Notification of Acceptance: October 30, 2025.

  4. Full Paper or Presentation (PPT) Submission Deadline: December 30, 2025.

  5. Submission Format: Academic paper or technical report.

    • Language: Chinese (minimum 2,000 words) or English (minimum 1,000 words).

  6. Oral Presentation: The preliminary PPT will be shared only with respondents and will not be published on the symposium website.

    • Required Content: Teaching motivation and objectives, pedagogical methods, research methodology, learning outcomes, and discussion.

    • Optional Content: Theoretical framework and literature review.

    • Presentation Language: Chinese or English.

    • Duration: 25 minutes per paper (20-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A).
