○ Researchers engaged in literature (including comparative literature), culture, or linguistics (including foreign language teaching and translation) are eligible to submit manuscripts.
2. Copyright Responsibility
○ The Journal assumes no responsibility for copyright issues. In the event of copyright infringement, the author(s) shall bear full legal responsibility.
○ Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in peer-reviewed journals, nor may they be under simultaneous consideration by other journals.
3. Scope of Submissions
○ General Submissions
Unpublished papers written in Chinese or in one of the following foreign languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, or Italian, in the fields of linguistics (including foreign language teaching and translation), literature, or culture (including comparative literature).
○ Feature Topic Submissions
Unpublished papers written in Chinese or English. The content must correspond to the theme of the feature topic for the respective issue.

○ Notes may be presented either as footnotes or endnotes; authors are advised to use one format consistently throughout the manuscript. Chinese manuscripts should adopt Hanyu Pinyin for romanization.
○ Quotations and references in languages other than that of the manuscript may remain in the original language; however, a Chinese translation must be provided in parentheses. Where standard Chinese translations of foreign personal names exist, these should be included.
5. Peer Review
○ All submissions are reviewed through a double-blind peer review process, and only manuscripts that pass external review will be considered for publication.
○ If the two reviewers provide divergent evaluations, the manuscript will be referred to a third reviewer.
○ Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, rejection, and the issue of publication are made by the Editorial Board, taking into account both the review results and the duration of the review process.

○ Once published, articles may not be reprinted, translated, or excerpted without the prior written permission of the Journal.
7. Offprints
○ Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will receive one complimentary copy of the printed issue, along with an electronic PDF version of the published article.
8. Honoraria
○ The Journal is distributed primarily for academic exchange among libraries and research institutions in Taiwan and abroad. As it does not generate commercial revenue, no honoraria or royalties are paid.
9. Editing and Revision
○ After a manuscript has passed peer review, authors are required to revise and prepare the final version of the manuscript in accordance with the Journal’s formatting and style guidelines before publication.
